Cocentra provide educational/technical services and products with the object of making a positive difference to the lives of young people through school and Local Authority improvement, change leadership and new school design. Cocentra currently has 6 divisions that make up the company, including:

Stakeholder Surveys

Cocentra have collated more than 15 million views of pupils and parents on the ECM outcomes (health, safety, enjoyment and achievement, positive contribution and wellbeing) as well as gathering their opinions on behaviour, learning and the quality of teaching. This remains a growing area of expertise and we have become one of the leading suppliers of pupil, parent and other stakeholder surveys in the UJ.

Interim Management and Recruitment

We provide interim management services to LAs and schools and have provided Directors of Children's Services through to interim Deputy headteachers in over 30 LAs

Performance data, the SEF and Inspection

Cocentra provide a number of data management services including courses and advisory workshops covering performance and attainment programmes based on RAISEonline and other data sources. This has become an area of strong technical expertise. We also provide a range of support to help schools with their SEF and School profile and to prepare for inspection.

Advisory

We have provided support for over 4,000 schools, of all types and phases, including private schools, as well as national bodies, the DCSF and Local Authorities. This includes a range of training and consultancy services, including leadership and management, a leading edge range of teaching and learning services and products, curriculum design, SEN, behaviour management and change management.

ICT Services

We have a dedicated consultancy and delivery team for ICT to provide independent advice to schools and LAs. We provide a range of services including:

• developing strategies to maximise the impact of ICT on education

• identifying the practicalities of ICT solutions

• advertising on the procurement of appropriate providers

• project managing the delivery

New School Design

Cocentra were appointed to the PfS Education framework under the new Building Schools for the Future programme. We have been actively and successfully involved ever since, directly supporting Local Authorities, schools and private sector companies and consortia through the various visioning, 'readiness' and bid preparation/submission stages.
