An integrated approach to improvement 
Cocentra are commited to the development of a teaching for learning community which gives schools and individual practitioners the opportunity to be informed about, and contribute to, aspects of innovative and effective practice in teaching and learning.
We have developed a complete range of products and services for schools to use to ensure that processes and systems genuinely improve.

TEACHERS' VOICE for LEARNING SURVEYS
Two parts
1a An on-line survey of all aspects of teaching against clear descriptors.
1b Teacher Self-Review
An online self-review survey of all aspects of teaching against clear descriptors by teachers within the school.
Evaluation of practice against objective criteria

Surveys are available at whole school, or departmental level.

Also available is an Adviser Report which summarises outcomes and identifies areas for action.

LEARNERS' VOICE for LEARNING
Available for KS1, KS2 and for secondary schools on cross curricular or subject specific basis.
Gaining the views of learners on such things as the learning context, the learning experience, feedback etc.
Also available is an Adviser Report which summarises outcomes and identifies areas for action.
3.
THE EYE for LEARNING
Supported review for learning.
A cost effective mobile self-review system which gives teachers control over their own developments. Can also be used to coach and mentor and to harness pupil voice.
4.
THE TEACHING for LEARNING FRAMEWORK 
A framework for enhancing learning and teaching. A valuable resource to support and enhance the school's teaching for learning policy and systems.
A practical guide for schools to use which outlines the conditions and processes for effective teaching and learning. Contains detailed descriptors, evidence gathering sheets and other useful tools.

COACHING for LEARNING 
Training services, support and tools.
Developing skills and systems which will enhance teaching for learning.
5a One day INSET training for leaders of learning who will undertake observations.
5b One day INSET training for all staff focused on effective practice in teaching and learning.
5c Developing the moderation and judgement processes. One day coaching from an experienced Adviser, for staff who are undertaking observations.
Ensuring structured monitoring and evaluation of learning and teaching in a variety of ways.
Developing the skills of leaders
Paired observation and feedback.
Developing high quality, robust moderation processes.
Ensuring consistency of judgement.
6.
RECORDING for LEARNING
Learning and Teaching Tracker
An online, secure and easy to use system to collect, collate and provide analysis on classroom observations.
Gathering evidence to support school-wide views on learning and teaching for CPD, Performance Management and the SEF.
Based on the characteristics of effective learning and effective teaching as set out in the Cocentra Impact Framework. Schools can, however, use their own descriptors in using the system
7.
INTERACTIVE FORUM
An on-line forum for sharing ideas and building models of effectiveness.
An opportunity for practitioners to share ideas, successes and innovative solutions in developing the practice of teaching and learning outside the normal limits of phase and/or geographical location.
