The Brief
  • Kenilworth School appointed Cocentra to manage the whole selection process covering the appointment of a Deputy Headteacher

            • preparing long and short lists
            • developing and running a wide range of assessment activities to explore the strengths and weaknesses of shortlisted candidates
            • securing verbal feedback from referees
            • managing the two day formal appointment process
  • Cocentra's recruitment process resulted in the successful appointment of a new Deputy Headteacher by:
            • ensuring governors' time was spent on selection and not administration
            • providing secure focused assessment processes matched to school needs
            • delivering a value added solution which can be re-used for future appointments
Microsite Usage
  • A microsite was established incorporating the schools colours and logo
  • Cocentra assisted in the wording, design and placement of the TES advert
  • Potential candidates benefitted from easy access via the microsite to detailed information about the school, the vacancies and the Kenilworth area
  • Most candidate applications were routed directly via the microsite which provided simple cost effective administrative tracking control and also acted as a high level assessment filter
